From the label Hard Return, affiliated with ATTN:magazine, is this grand compilation of music where the only rule was to make something as repetitive as possible. All money goes to Doctors Without Borders.

This piece is made of three layers: first there is a drone from the uilleann pipes; second are the distorted pluck sounds made in Pure Data by sending bursts of noise through networks of delayed feedback, tuned to the frequencies of the overtones of the uilleann pipes drone; third is a recording of me throwing rocks in a blueberry field in Maine, my partner and our friend laughing as I do it.

My first time recording with the uilleann pipes, a bellows-blown bagpipe instrument from Ireland. Huge thanks to Jack Chuter for putting this together and mastering the whole shebang.
